CHAP Training TABE Test

Community Health Aide Trainees (CHA/T) are required to demonstrate a 6th-grade education equivalent (8th grade in some regions). To achieve this, we administer The Adult Basic Education Test, or TABE test. The test is performed on an iPad using the DRC Insight app or can be installed on a desktop computer. A test proctor is required to administer and monitor the test. It’s also important to take the test in a location with reliable internet.

Note: The Anchorage CHAP Training Center has switched to the TABE 13 and 14 versions. The 11/12 version has been discontinued.

To administer or take a TABE test, or for more information, contact Kyle von Bose at the Anchorage CHAP office. Please include the student’s name and date of birth.
