ADTEP Dentist/Instructor Nhi Huynh, DMD

Dr. Huynh grew up in Virginia and attended Old Dominion University, receiving a Bachelor of Science – Major in Biology and Minor in Biochemistry. She then completed her dental education at Oregon Health and Science University – School of Dentistry. She went on to complete a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency in Arizona, and then moved to Alaska where she practiced general dentistry at Southcentral Foundation (SCF) for a year before completing another residency, this time a two-year hospital based Advanced General Practice Residency at the Alaska Native Medical Center. During this time, she commissioned into the United States Public Health Service and remained working with SCF.  Recently, her employment status changed to intermittent with SCF when she took on a full-time position with the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium – Alaska Dental therapy Educational Program.
