ADTEP Instructor Amanda O’Brien, DMD, MS

Graduated from Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in Glendale, Arizona in 2022. Raised in the east valley of sunny Arizona, Amanda received her undergraduate degree in Physiology from the University of Arizona in 2016 before completing a Masters in the Science of Health Care Delivery from Arizona State University in 2018. Following completion of her DMD degree, Dr. O’Brien traded in the desert for the tundra and moved to Bethel, Alaska where she has worked as a dentist for the Yukon Kuskokwim Health Corporation since 2022. Dr. O’Brien continues to work full time as a dentist for YKHC and became a part-time instructor for the Alaska Dental Therapy Education Program in 2025.
