October 2025 – CHAPCB Standards & Procedures

During the Community Health Aide Program Certification Board (CHAPCB) meeting on October 1-2, 2025, the following amendments were made to the CHAPCB Standards and Procedures. Changes are marked as follows: Sec. A1.20.010. Definitions. 14. “BLS” means Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers/Professionals certification, which must include certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (“CPR”) techniques based upon training equivalent to that required for completion of a CPR course certified by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
