The Community Health Aide Program Certification Board (CHAPCB), established by the federal government, oversees certification and training standards for Community Health Aides, Dental Health Aides, and Behavioral Health Aides—supporting a vital workforce serving Alaska Native communities across the Tribal Health System. The CHAPCB meets triannually to certify health aides at all levels.
