DESCRIPTION:2023 CHAP Forum Agenda \nMonday – Thursday beginning at 8:00 am daily \nThe annual CHAP Forum offers sessions that are interactive\, creative\, dynamic\, present topics often encountered by multiple disciplines\, feature best practices in integrated healthcare\, and yield an increase in skills and resources relevant to CHA/P’s scope of practice. Each session will be 60-90 minutes in length\, and participants may earn up to 24 continuing education credits. There will be daily coffee and tea service and a buffet lunch along with the Dental Health Aide and Behavioral Health Aide Programs. \nThe Integrated Health Aide Awards Ceremony is on Wednesday\, November 8. All three disciplines will be in attendance: Community Health Aide\, Dental Health Aide and Behavioral Health Aide Programs. \nRegistration Information:  \nThe registration fee is $450 per person. DESCRIPTION:The Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault training scheduled for November 30 – December 3 has been postponed until after the holidays.  The new dates for this training will be posted as soon as they are set and confirmed.\n  \n  \n  \nFor Session III and above CHAs: The Anchorage CHAP Training Center\, along with Alaska Legal Services and Tundra Women’s Coalition\, specialized training in domestic violence and sexual assault for Community Health Aides at the Session III level and above. \nThe training will be in two sessions:\nThe first session will be held from November 30 through December 3\, 2021.\nThe second session will be held in December 2022. \nParticipating health aides will have to attend both sessions to qualify for a specialty certificate that will be given.
